Voters Meeting

All Confirmed Members of St. John’s Lutheran Church that have reached the age of 16 are Voting Members of the Congregation. St. John’s Constitution no longer requires set dates for the voters meetings, we do require a voters meeting to elect officers and a second meeting to approve the annual budget. In addition to this, meetings may be called for official church business, including the calling of professional personnel.

In an effort to improve communication with our voting members, The Mission and Ministry Council has established “Fireside Chats” on the Third Thursday of each month. These chats are designed to focus on specific ministry areas of the congregation in order to gain information from the members as well as sharing news with the congregation.
