Join us!  All of St. John's Church, School and Childcare community celebrates the 150th Anniversary of our St. John's.

People from near and far, friends and family, attended special events to honor the anniversary!

St. John's 150th History Book

In honor of the 150th anniversary, a team of dedicated volunteers took on the task of 150 years of who, what, when, where and how.  The team researched, compiled, revised and constructed a special volume of St. John's history that incorporates the material from previous histories and is the definitive reference to the present.  If you'd like to request a copy, please contact the main office.

Anniversary Video

The official celebration of the 150th anniversary was on June 26, 2016 with worship followed by a luncheon.  A video of the anniversary event is available.  Contact the main office to request a copy.

Pictorial Directory

Current members and families in St. John's Church, School and Childcare are featured in a 2016 pictorial directory.  Persons who participated by having their picture taken each receive a copy of the directory.  If you would like to request a copy, contact the main office.  Great thanks to Gail and Jim Hanneman for coordinating the project of this milestone directory in our anniversary year!

150th Quilt

The special quilt handcrafted to commemorate the 150 years of St. John's community is completed, dedicated and featured in our Fellowship Hall.  The quilt features each of the buildings that St. John's congregation has called home over these years.  The quilt also displays the bible verse that is the theme for our 150th Anniversary.  Many thanks to the skilled and caring hands of the Peace by Piece Quilters at St. John's, and to Thrivent also, for the grant awarded for materials. This quilt is a lasting and beautiful tribute to our past that will remind and inspire for years to come.
