St. John's Celebrates 150 Years in 2016
All St. John's Church, School and Childcare community celebrates the 150th Anniversary of our St. John's. We have a year of special events to honor the anniversary and hope you will join us in our celebrations.
To Whom Honor is Due, A Night to Say Thanks 2016
You are invited to this year's military salute to be held November 5, 2016 at St. John's. Doors open 4:30 pm. Dinner 5:45pm, Program 6:45-8:00 pm.
There is a nominal ticket price for non-military guests, which helps us cover costs. Military guest tickets are no charge.

This event is supported by the assistance of vounteers to plan and organize the event, and the financial assistance of tax deductible gifts. Checks written to support the program should be made out to St. John's and carry TWHD in the memo line.

The 13th Annual St. John's Lutheran Dinner Auction, will be April 22, 2017!
Your support of the 2015 auction helped to improve our facility by adding handicap access in church and updating the upstairs hallway and cafeteria. Additional playground equipment and collapsible cafeteria tables were also purchased.

Annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza at St. John's
St. John's annually offers an Easter celebration event for children through 4th grade accompanied by parents/grandparents. Activities include devotions, door prizes, lunch, egg hunt, face painting and crafts. Bring your Easter basket for the egg hunt. Invite your friends!

Our church and school members collect little labels and tops that can be turned into funds from national companies that support education.
Look for the baskets at the entrances of the building. Baskets are marked for these type of items.

SCRIP Gift Cards
SCRIP is a fundraiser program that offers gift cards that can be used as cash. These gift cards are issued by retailers where families already shop and can be used to purchase everyday items such as food, gasoline, clothing and dining.
Did you know that when you purchase SCRIP through St. John's, 50% of the profit from your SCRIP purchase can be applied to St. John's tuition and child care?
You can also designate the money raised to go to our Tuition Assistance Fund, created to help needy families struggling with school fees.
The other half of the profits goes to St. John's.
The most popular SCRIP gift cards are available in stock, for you to purchase anytime. Hundreds more are available to special order. Order blanks are located outside the office or you can print from the links below. Turn your order and money into the office of the SCRIP box located outside the office doors. Orders are placed on Mondays, so payments must be in the Scrip box by noon on Mondays. Orders are received by the end of the week.

Set up your personal ordering account by following the prompts for your information. With online service you can order the plastic gift cards as well as reload existing cards for continuous use. Just let the scale operator know that the transaction will be put under the St. John's Lutheran Church, School, and Chidcare account and they will take care of the rest.
