He has been to Uganda 4 times for mission trips, preaching, teaching, dedicating churches and a school, and sharing in the life of the Lutheran Church Uganda over the past 17 years.

In his spare time, he loves to read, cook, exercise, ride bikes, boat, go to concerts with Jeri and play with their grandchildren. Since becoming empty nesters, they have enjoyed travel to Ireland, England, Hawaii, Alaska, Germany, and a Mediterranean Cruise
Pastor Dan says, “I love people, and I love God’s Word. It is a joy and privilege to marry these two loves in the calling I have received from the congregation to serve as pastor.”
